Our team at District Nerds have built Ikea Now/Furnish because we, like many, have wondered
Would this look good at my house?
The initial version of this application is basic with 40+ popular Ikea products. Depending on how many users like our app, we will create more models.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
- What is Ikea Now/Furnish used for?
Ikea Now was built to help consumers visualize products inside their homes to help facilitate a smarter and more enjoyable purchase experience. - Is this compatible with the new iPhone 5?
Oh yes. We didn’t want to letter box and we wanted to take advantage of the new 4” screen. - Do you have an Android version?
We currently do not but we are taking a tally so if you want a Android version, please let us know here: [email protected] - Where are the photos stored after I take a picture?
The photos are stored in your device photo gallery. - Can I favorite or save a product?
Not yet but we’re working on that now. - Can I use an existing photo to place a furniture in?
Not yet but that will come shortly. - Can I place multiple furniture at once?
Unfortunately, not yet but we are planning to build that very soon. - How often will you add more products?
We will add more products every month. - How can I share my photos on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest?
For now you’ll have to post photos from your device’s photo gallery. A future update will have the ability to share within the application. - How can I send a product to someone?
This feature will also be coming in a few weeks. - Are you partnered with Ikea?
